The AmeriCorps State and National program is a nationwide network of outreach and service organizations that utilize members to assist in their local communities tackling a host of problems facing many populations today. The programs operate on funding from the Corporation for National & Community Service (CNCS) for both operating costs as well as to pay members a small stipend for their service. At the successful completion of service, members are awarded an education award to continue to learn, grow, and thrive.
