Meet Our CEO


  

Tonya Hamilton was appointed Cabinet Executive Officer (CEO) and Tribal Liaison of the Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family (GOYFF) in January 2023.

Before Ms. Hamilton's appointment, she served 29 years working for the State of Arizona and its citizens at the Pima County Juvenile Court Center, the Arizona Supreme Court, and the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry. 

CEO Hamilton has worked for the last 16 years in various roles at GOYFF, such as Deputy Director, Substance Abuse Prevention Manager, and Project Director for several grant awards. CEO Hamilton currently serves as an ex officio member of the Arizona Commission of African American Affairs, a member of the Governor's Council to Combat Human Trafficking in Arizona, a member of the Arizona Substance Abuse Partnership, a member of the Governor's Council on Child Safety and Family Empowerment, and has participated on the Governor's Veterans Policy Academy Team.

A native Phoenician, CEO Hamilton is a proud mother of two adult children, a volunteer with Maryvale High School, and a member of the Arizona West Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
